MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The City of Germantown announced that several streets will have their water meters replaced this week.

In a social media post, they said starting on July 7, meter replacements will occur on weekdays between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. and typically take about 20 minutes to complete.

The following streets will have their water meters replaced:

  • Shadeley Drive
  • Rowan Lane
  • Haseley Lane
  • Arden Walk Lane
  • Waxlander Circle
  • Seesselshire Lane
  • Friarlynch Lane
  • Richman Lane
  • Grabersbridge Cove
  • Steinerbridge Lane
  • Halleford Circle
  • Willisshire Lane
  • Allenby Lakes Drive
  • Wolf Bend Road
  • Willow Brook Road
  • Wolf Park Road
  • Gallery Court
  • Cottage Glen Circle East
  • McClellan Lane
  • Stonewyck Road
  • Poplar Grove Lane
  • Mulkins Lane
  • Hazelton Drive
  • Old Bridge Lane
  • Chatsworth Drive
  • Chesley Lane
  • Walters Woods Lane
  • Poplar Grove Circle
  • Foster Grove Road
  • Fox Fern Road
  • Cottage Glen Circle West

During the meter replacements, water service will be unavailable.

Technicians will knock on doors before starting work and will proceed with the replacement if no one answers, provided there is no sign of active water usage.

After the installation, a door hanger with instructions will be left, and residents are encouraged to run an outdoor spigot or bathtub faucet to flush any sediment from the line.

The schedule may be impacted by weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
