MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A West Memphis police officer was arrested and charged with shoplifting from a Dollar General.

Martrevius Bell is accused of taking about five containers of motor oil from the store in Edmondson, Arkansas, on Wednesday. He is charged with theft $1,000 or less.

A report states video surveillance showed Bell, who was carrying a baby and shopping with a female, grab several cans of oil. He then returns into view carrying only one can, and the baby’s diaper bag appears more full than before.

Authorities say Bell only paid for one can. The officer’s report lists Bell as a West Memphis Police officer.

The West Memphis Police Department said Bell is currently on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation. Internal Affairs is also investigating. 

Taelor Rae Glasper was also arrested and charged with Theft $1,000 or less. She is seen in her mugshot wearing a military uniform.
