MEMPHIS, Tenn. — It’s finally Friday, which means it’s time to look at several events happening across the greater Memphis area this weekend. There is something for everyone.

Let’s get started with tonight’s Outlaw Music Festival. This is the festival’s 10th anniversary tour with a major lineup of legends and superstars.

Friday night, you can see Willie Nelson & family, Bob Dylan, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, plus more at Radians Amphitheater.

The festival is at the Memphis Botanic Gardens, and doors open at 3 p.m. today. Tickets are still available starting at $110.

While the Fourth of July may be more than a week away, festivities start up Friday night.

West Memphis will hold its annual Freedom Fest tonight, starting at 5 p.m. at Tilden Rogers Park.

Fireworks will be at sunset, and you can enjoy live music and food trucks.

Saturday morning, if you want to get out and enjoy some fresh air while learning about nature, head over to the Guided Nature Walk at Overton Park.

This is from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. through the old forest. The suggested minimum donation is $3 per person.

After your walk, you can relax Saturday night with some free music by Stax Music Academy.

They are playing Saturday night’s Orion Financial free concert at Overton Park Shell.

Music begins at 7:30 p.m. and goes until 9 p.m.

If you want to enjoy some stargazing after the concert, join the Memphis Astronomical Society for free stargazing on top of Beale Street Landing.

This is from 7:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.

It’s free, but it’s first-come, first-serve with limited seating.

Finally, on Sunday, head over to the Brooks Museum of Art for a special screening of “How to Survive a Plague.”

The thought-provoking documentary shows the challenges faced by the lgbtq+ community during the aids crisis.
