MEMPHIS, Tenn. — It’s finally Friday, which means it’s time to look at several events happening across the greater Memphis area this weekend. There is something for everyone.
Let’s get started with the 32nd Annual Juneteenth Douglass Freedom and Heritage Festival.
From now until Sunday, you can continue celebrating the Juneteenth Celebration with a heritage parade, BBQ, competition, live art, and more. The event is free to attend.
Tonight is Family Fun Friday. Join the City of Memphis at 6 p.m. for free activities for the kids, carnival rides, and free food for the first 500 attendees.
It’s held at the Brent Ferguson Park. That event wraps up at 9 p.m.
Saturday, the previously rescheduled annual Pride Parade is taking place.
The parade steps off at 4th and Beale and makes its way through the historic Beale Street entertainment district from noon until 2 p.m. This is a free event.
Memphis Brew Fest is also happening on Saturday.
You can head over to Shelby Farms Park for a day filled with great brews, delicious food, and live music. Early bird tickets are $55, and general admission is $65.
You must be 21 years or older. The event kicks off at noon.
On Saturday, the Orion Financial concert series welcomes local, national, and international acts to the historic Overton Park Shell.
The family-friendly concert kicks off at 7:30 p.m. Tickets to this event are also free.
For Sunday funday, you can enjoy Sunset Jazz at Court Square. This is a free, family-friendly concert series.
