MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Heat Advisory has been issued for much of the News Channel 3 viewing area.
The advisory will be in effect from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday for all our counties in north Mississippi and eastern Arkansas, plus Shelby, Tipton and Fayette counties in Tennessee.
Todd Demers says temperatures will be in the low 90s, but the heat index will top 105. The National Weather Service says the heat index is expected to reach 110, with high humidity.
