MEMPHIS — He has arrived.

World number one and a two-time major winner this year, Scottie Scheffler, the favorite at this week’s FedEx St. Jude Championship, is one of the 69 golfers who have arrived in Memphis for the start of the FedEx Cup playoffs. Names like Viktor Hovland, former Open Champion Brian Harman and Sam Burns, who was in the hunt at Southwind a year ago, finishing in a tie for fifth, all spent their Tuesday getting a look at the new look greens.

The practice and preparation continues during Wednesday’s Pro-Am before the swings start to count as FESJC tees off on Thursday.

Every golfer in the field knows what it means to simply be able to tee it up in Memphis this week.
