MEMPHIS — He is still the most storied receiver in Tiger football history.

In receptions.

In yards.

In touchdowns.

He was also a second round pick of the Chicago Bears in the 2018 draft.

But Anthony Miller has never forgotten where he’s come from. That’s why the now Baltimore Raven is home this weekend as the former Christian Brothers star will put on a camp for kids Saturday morning out at South Campus but before that, Miller teamed up with Academy Sports and Outdoors to surprise 20 kids from his hometown with a $5000 shopping spree. Each getting a $250  gift card to load up on essentials like football gear, sports equipment, clothes and shoes.

Speaking of essentials… for miller, that means giving back to the youth of Memphis.

“I believe it’s very important because they get to see that somebody from the city can make it and make a large impact. That’s another thing I want to teach them is even if they do leave home, come back and give back because Memphis is what raised them. I’m giving back in any way that I can,” Miller said. “There are going to be a lot of obstacles along the way that you’re going to have to go through and endure, but you just got to keep stepping. Going forward and face those challenges head on and conquer all.”
