(KRON) — The NASCAR Xfinity and Cup competitions head to the Sonoma Raceway this weekend. The Xfinity action will be viewable on CW stations across the country.

The Xfinity series gets underway Saturday with the NASCAR Countdown Live at 1 p.m. Pacific, followed by the NASCAR Xfinity Series getting underway at 1:30 p.m. local time live from Sonoma.

Last year, pole-sitter Shane van Gisbergen secured the win, leading a race-high 32 laps while taking the lead late after contact with Austin Hill.

With eight races left in the regular season, Sonoma is the fourth of seven road course races this season.

Fresh off a sweep on the streets of Chicago (video above), Shane van Gisbergen returns to the No. 9 JF Motorsports Chevrolet. 23XI Racing’s Riley Herbst will also be back behind the wheel of the No. 19 Toyota Supra for Joe Gibbs Racing.
