Memphis Tigers guard Sincere Parker arrested on aggravated assault charge

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Recent Memphis Tigers transfer guard Sincere Parker has been charged with aggravated assault.

The alleged incident happened on May 27, but was not reported until June 12.


The victim says that she was arguing with Parker when he pushed her, struck her in the face, and then choked her, which left her bruised and with a bloody mouth.

Per the police report filed with the Memphis Police Department, the victim stated that Parker also broke her iPhone.

On July 15, the victim met with MPD investigators and provided information leading to the arrest of Parker.

Parker is currently being held in the Shelby County Jail without bond.

Along with the aggravated assault charge, Parker was also charged with vandalism of $1,000 or less.

Parker committed to the U of M in April after averaging 12.3 points and 2.5 rebounds with McNeese State last season.
