MEMPHIS — With top pick Cedric Coward already signed, the Grizzlies striking a deal with the first of their two second round picks in June’s NBA draft.
The team announcing that it has inked a deal, a two-way deal with Javon Small who the Grizzlies took with the 48th pick in last month’s draft.
The 6’1″ guard averaged almost 19 points, 4 rebounds and 5-plus assists on his way to being named first team All- Big XII last season at West Virginia.
But one season is all we’ll get from Marvin Bagley.
The number two overall pick back in the 2018 draft out of Duke agreeing to a one-year deal with the Washington Wizards, where he played last year before being sent to the Grizzlies as part of the Marcus Smart trade. Bagley averaged four points and two boards in just 12 games in the Beale Street Blue.
