MEMPHIS, Tenn. — After signing Jaren Jackson Jr. and Santi Aldama to contract extensions, it wasn’t long before the Grizzlies signed one of the best sixth men in the NBA.

Reports say that the Grizzlies signed guard Ty Jerome to a three-year, $28 million deal on Monday.

Jerome is coming off a career year with the Cleveland Cavaliers, where he averaged 12.5 points per game.

He also proved to be one of the most consistent shooters in the league, shooting 51.6 percent from the field and 43.9 percent from beyond the arc.

His performance made him a contender for Sixth Man of the Year, but he was ultimately beat out by Boston Celtics guard Payton Pritchard.
