GLENDALE, Arizona — With training camps underway all over the NFL, a serious scare for former Memphis Tiger JJ Russell.
Russell taken to an Arizona hospital with what the Cardinals are calling a head and neck injury sustained at practice Thursday.
Russell, who signed with Arizona after playing the last three years in Tampa Bay, was placed on a backboard and carted off the field but was alert with movement in all of his extremities.
Former Tiger Obinna Eze is getting another shot in the NFL.
The former four-star offensive tackle signing with the Miami Dolphins where he is hoping to stick and maybe make an opening day roster. After earning a practice squad nod with both the Detroit Lions and Pittsburgh Steelers, Eze was recently released by the New York Jets, opening the door for him with the Dolphins.
Eze went undrafted back in 2022.
