MEMPHIS — After doubling up last year, winning both the AAC regular season and tournament titles, Penny Hardaway and the Tigers now know the road to a repeat as the newly branded American Conference released the matchups for next year.
18 conference games including home and home match-ups with many of the teams expected to battle Memphis for the league title.
The Tigers will play six teams home and home.
Three teams only at FedExForum and three only on the road.

Memphis will play home and home against Tulane, UAB, North Texas, FAU, South Florida and Wichita State. The Tigers, Mean Green, Blazers, Green Wave and Owls finished one through five in last year’s conference standings.
Hardaway and company will also host Temple, UTSA and Charlotte and make road trips to Tulsa, East Carolina and Rice. All with another brand new roster.
The conference season is set to tip off on December 30th. Official dates and tip times… still to come.
The opponents are also out for Alex Simmons and her new look Tigers.
Home and home with Charlotte, East Carolina, Tulane, UAB, UTSA and Wichita State.
Visits to the Elma Roane Fieldhouse for FAU, Rice and South Florida. Road games at Tulsa, Temple and North Texas.
