We opened in 2017. We had a brainchild of Central Barbeque and Sweet Grass and they kind of merged together and saw a need for a breakfast restaurant. Kind of a conglomerate of fancy dining mixed with Central Barbeque. You get this brainchild of breakfast restaurant that looks like a southern meets modern take.

Our most popular dish at Sunrise is going to be most definitely our kitchen sink. Its our sampler platter, it comes with our homemade biscuits, which we are known for our biscuits here. It comes with eggs, bacon, sausage, hashbrowns and grits. We also have turkey bacon and sausage options as well as veggies so we can reach everybody’s different palettes here.

Sunrise loves Memphis, Sunrise works hard to bring in different parts of the community. As far as our customers, our employees, our population of customers is a good mix of locals, regulars and of course here downtown we get a lot of tourism. A lot of it comes from word of mouth. A lot of the hotels, concierge, say you’ve got to go to Sunrise. Honestly within the last seven and half years, that word of mouth really has been our driving force.
