A new movie in theaters now tells story of Nat Turner, a preacher who led the 1831 Virginia Slave Rebellion.
It’s call “Birth of a Nation.”
Nate Parker wrote, directed and stars in the film alongside Gabrielle Union, Armie Hamer and Aja Naomi King. Memphis actor, Kai Norris, also stars in the movie.
