Deborah Cox, the chart-topping pop and R&B singer known for her powerhouse vocals, said she’s kicking off the New Year with optimism, philanthropy, and fresh projects.
“It’s all about new aspirations, new beginnings, new vibes, and new energy,” Cox said.
Cox has contributed that new energy to Project Angel Food’s New Year’s celebration, an organization she has long admired.
“They do incredible work,” she said. “It’s really wonderful to bring more awareness to this incredible organization.”
With 13 Billboard Dance Club Songs chart-toppers under her belt, including “I’m Every Woman,” “Nobody’s Supposed to Be Here,” and “We Want to Dance,” Cox continues to enjoy career milestones.
“I feel really blessed,” she said. “It’s been a dream of mine to be a person that has longevity. Here I am living it, living the dream.”
In addition to her music, Cox is expanding her brand with the launch of Kazaisu, her new wine label. The name, a heartfelt tribute to her three children—Kyle, Kayla, Isaiah, and Simeon—is a fusion of their names.
“I wanted this to be a legacy wine, something meaningful,” Cox explained.
Cox will no doubt toast the New Year with a glass of Kazaisu and Coast-to-Coast Countdown to 2025, an exclusive New Year’s Eve special that will transport over 50 million American homes through four time zones of midnight celebrations live from the iconic Treasure Island Hotel and Casino lagoon on the Las Vegas Strip.
