Police on the hunt for the man wearing a ‘red devil’ mask

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — An award is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the man caught on camera attempting to rob the First South Financial Credit Union on Winchester.

On Monday just before 1 p.m., the man entered the credit union wearing a red devil mask, armed with a gun.

Before he made it to the teller, he turned on his heels and fled the scene.

Prior to leaving, he pulled off the mask revealing his face.

Investigators said while he didn’t take any money in this case, it does appear to be related to another set of robberies from November 2014 and February 2015 in which a man with a red devil mask stole an undetermined amount of money.

A $10,000 reward is being offered for any information leading to this man’s arrest.
