MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Memphis Pension Board has voted to give former Director of Housing and Community Development Robert Lipscomb a one time pension payment worth $466,364.67.
The announcement came just hours after attorneys for Lipscomb said they had a letter from the accuser, now 26, recanting his accusations made against Lipscomb.
Lipscomb was suspended with pay from the Memphis Housing Authority and resigned from his other job as Director of Housing and Community Development for the city of Memphis after accusations surfaced of him having a relationship with a minor.
