MARSHALL COUNTY, Miss. — Authorities have officially identified one of the men who were found dead in Marshall County.
The services for 53-year-old Mark Hooper were held on Friday.
It’s believed at this time he was run over by his own truck.
After the incident a truck matching the description of the one owned by the victim was spotted and Holly Springs officers gave chase.
The suspect bailed out of the car in a wooded area, leaving the pickup behind.
Sheriff Kenneth Dickerson said they are still trying to confirm that truck is the victim’s.
That suspect is also still at large.
Hooper was one of two bodies discovered last Friday in Marshall County.
Authorities are also searching for the suspect in that case as well.
