DENVER (KDVR) – Former NBA player Danilo Gallinari’s pregnant wife, Eleanora Boi, made a shocking announcement in an Instagram post over the weekend, saying a shark attacked her in Puerto Rico.
In the post, she credited herself with a 1-0 score in her favor over the shark, saying “the little mermaid from Sardinia, 1 — baby shark from Puerto Rico, 0,” according to a translation of the post.

She also said that the attack marked “the worst day” of her life.
“I never thought I could get attacked by a shark and I was near the shore and on a super crowded beach,” she said in the post.
Boi said she was rushed to the hospital and had surgery on her “poor bruised leg.” She also said that her unborn baby is “fine.”
“Now I just have to recover from the great scare and try to forgive the great friend who betrayed me,” she said. “Shark will be hearing from my legals soon.”
The post concluded by thanking all those who sent her messages and prayers, while also thanking her husband for his “love and courage.” She capped off the post by saying that the couple had missed their Bad Bunny concert due to the incident.
Boi is a well-known Italian sports journalist and TV presenter who primarily works in soccer and has featured on Sportitalia, Mediaset and DAZN.

Gallinari played for the Nuggets from 2011 to 2017 after being a key piece in a package that saw Carmelo Anthony traded to the New York Knicks.
