MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The reward for information leading to the capture of quadruple murder suspect Austin Drummond reached $30,000, as officers combed an area in Jackson searching for him Monday.
New documents filed by the U.S. Marshals Service say Drummond may have fled the state of Tennessee.
The document was filed on Friday, stating, “Based on information developed by investigators with the U.S. Marshal Service, USMS Task Force Officers, Tennessee Bureau of Investigations, and other state and local officers, it is believed that Austin Drummond possibly fled the state of Tennessee.”
USMS is assisting the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, which is the lead agency in the case.
On Sunday, the Marshals Service said it will now pay up to $10,000 for information that leads to the arrest of Austin Drummond, 28. Then on Monday, the TBI said the governor’s office added $10,000 to the reward, and Dyer County Crime Stoppers added another $2,500.
That brings the total reward for information to $30,000.
Drummond is wanted on several charges, including first-degree murder and aggravated kidnapping in the deaths of four Dyer County family members whose bodies were found Tuesday, after an infant relative was found abandoned in front of a house.
A manhunt has been ongoing for Drummond, who was last seen in Jackson on Wednesday.
Two Jackson men were arrested Saturday and charged as accessories after the fact, but Drummond has not been found.
USMS asked anyone with information to call 901-406-2044 or 901-661-2955.
