HORN LAKE, Miss. — Authorities have canceled an amber alert for an 81-year-old Horn Lake, Mississippi man missing for more than 24 hours.
Oscar Boggs was last seen around 9 a.m. Wednesday in the 3700 block of Warrington Drive in Horn Lake.
His wife said he was trying to drive to a hunting buddy’s house in Marvel, Arkansas but his phone showed he drove about two hours south instead.
“We got him to turn around and he came back north and the phone went off at around 4:05 p.m. yesterday and so I can’t track him now,” said Brenda Boggs.

Horn Lake Police said a camera caught Boggs’s truck headed northbound toward Memphis at around 11:30 a.m. Thursday.
Boggs, who was driving a 2021 red Toyota Tacoma 4×4 was located safe in Jackson, Tennessee.
