MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A woman has been charged with stealing more than $65,000 in jewelry from an Arlington home, the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office said.

The theft was reported Jan. 4 by a woman on Windsor Falls Loop, authorities said. The victim told deputies she had a cleaning crew in her house on Dec. 30 when she noticed several pieces of jewelry missing.

Detectives say they found some of that jewelry at a store on Stage Road in Memphis, along with some key evidence that led them to a suspect’s home on Rensslaer Drive in Shelby County.

Taylor Biniakewitz, 31, was arrested and charged with theft of property, $60,000-$250,000.

Authorities say more stolen jewelry was found after a search of her home. Seven pieces were returned to the owner.
