MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A woman was arrested after a man was shot and killed in Cordova Tuesday evening.

The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office said the shooting happened in the 1200 block of Breezy Valley Drive in Cordova around 6:45 p.m.

When officials arrived at the scene, a man was found laying on the garage floor with a gunshot wound to his chest. He was transported to Regional One in critical condition, but he later died from his injuries.

The victim was identified Wednesday as 36-year-old Emmanuel Manzano.

According to reports, Melissa Rolison called police and told them that she and the victim had gotten into a domestic disturbance while driving to the home.

Rolison, 30, has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder. She is set to appear in court Thursday morning.
