MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Central Station Hotel in downtown Memphis ranked the second-best hotel in the South in the Condé Nast Traveler’s 2024 Readers’ Choice Awards.

This comes after more than 575,000 Condé Nast Traveler readers rated their travel experiences across the globe.

The “boutique lifestyle hotel” is a Curio Collection by Hilton property located in the South Main district. It is housed within a former train station, offering 123 rooms. The hotel also has an onsite lobby bar Eight & Sand, which showcases vinyl records for an audio experience for guests and locals.

“We’re absolutely delighted to be named the second-best hotel in the South,” said Amy Gray, director of sales and marketing at The Central Station Memphis. “This honor reflects the heart and soul our team pours into every single guest’s experience. We’re overjoyed to share this achievement with our incredible staff and welcome new and returning visitors to our hotel.”
