Burglar hits Midtown home twice stealing over $2K in items

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police are searching for a man after two burglaries were reported at a Midtown residence last week.

On May 25, officers responded to a burglary at a residence in the 100 block of Clark Place.


Reports say the man stole household items, including two televisions, an air fryer, a coffee maker, toiletries, paper towels, two round mirrors, two paintings, and three framed prints.

On May 28, another burglary was reported at the same Midtown residence, where the suspect broke in through a side window.

Police say the suspect took a 65-inch Samsung TV, a boxed Arlo doorbell camera, board games, towels, bedding, and a white blanket.

Reports say the items stolen are valued at over $2,000, with additional costs for property damage.

The suspect is possibly in his late 40s to early 50s. He has a tattoo on his right forearm and facial hair. In pictures, he is seen wearing all black with a baseball cap on his head and a white towel draped over it.

In the second burglary, he was seen wearing a white tank top and shorts.

No arrests have been made.
