MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Memphis Fire Department is currently on McLemore Avenue and I-55 in South Memphis after gallons of a hazardous solution spilled Monday morning.
Fire crews say they responded to the hazmat call, where about 2,000 gallons of Calcium Bromide solution had spilled.
It has since been contained, and the area is now stabilized.
The MFD said that Riverside Drive, South Parkway, and Trigg Avenue are currently blocked due to the spill.

No other hazardous substances were present after initial assessment, according to MFD.
However, the fire department says they are controlling traffic until a cleanup company arrives.
