MEMPHIS, Tenn.– An inmate has died at the Shelby County Jail located at 201 Poplar, and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) are trying to figure out what happened.
33-year-old, Rockez McDaniel, is said to be the inmate that was pronounced dead on Monday.
Memphis Police say McDaniel was arrested for evading arrest and escape on July 20.
No cause of death has been determined yet according to TBI; this is still an active investigation.
