MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Hospitality Hub’s Cooling Center will be open on Saturday.
This comes as extremely hot weather could cause problems for the homeless and others without access to air conditioning.
The Cooling Center is located at 590 Washington Avenue and will be open from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., but hours could change depending on the weather.
All are welcome, as guests will need to check in upon arrival. Sack meals will be provided while supplies last.
Transportation to the Cooling Center will be provided by MATA and requests can be made by calling 901-486-0939 during Cooling Center hours.
