LAS CRUCES, N.M. — Two devices exploded outside New Mexico churches Sunday morning.
The first explosion happened outside Calvary Baptist Church around 8 a.m.
KRQE-TV reported the device was in a mailbox and did damage to the church building.
At 8:20 a.m. a second device went off in a trash can outside Holy Cross Catholic Church.
At the time, as many as 300 people were inside the church.
There were no injuries in either explosion.
The FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are looking into the explosions.
