MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Your Weather Experts will be watching Storm Tracker 3S for developing showers or thundershowers Monday afternoon.

Isolated strong storms can produce heavy rain, hail, and high winds.

Stay alert to rapidly changing conditions with updates on air and online.

On Sunday, thunderstorms crossed the Mid-South. While most storms will not be severe, a few may produce winds up to 60 mph, which would warrant a severe thunderstorm warning.

Even if storms do not reach severe criteria, gusty winds, heavy downpours, and frequent lightning are likely. If you hear thunder, go indoors until the storms pass. Many have been injured this summer from lightning strikes.
