MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Primark, an international clothing and home goods retailer, will open its first Tennessee store at Wolfchase Galleria in Memphis, the company announced.
The store will host a grand opening at the Wolfchase location beginning July 24 with a DJ, food and giveaways. Children’s character Bluey will appear July 26.
In preparation for opening, Primark is hiring for full-time and part-time associates with pay beginning at $15 an hour.
“Bringing Primark to Tennessee is a proud and exciting milestone for us,” said Kevin Tulip, President of Primark US. “As we grow our footprint across the Southern US, we’re thrilled to open our doors at Wolfchase Galleria and introduce Memphis shoppers to the incredible value and style that has made Primark a go-to destination for families and fashion lovers around the world.”
Primark, which first opened in Dublin, Ireland in 1969, now has more than 450 stores across 17 countries in Europe, and 13 U.S. states. A second Tennessee store is planned in Franklin.
