MEMPHIS, Tenn. — All lanes of traffic on Interstate 55 were closed due to large trucks maneuvering in the roadway, according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation.

Two oversized trucks were blocking all lanes in the area of I-55 and I-240. On traffic cameras, the trucks were seen backing up and pivoting across and down the road.

Traffic was at a complete standstill near Airways Boulevard and Lamar Avenue.

All lanes reopened around 11 a.m., shortly after they were shut down.
