Since being fired late last season, we haven’t heard much from former Grizzly coach Taylor Jenkins.  But that could be about to change.

It seems Jenkins’ name has come up for the vacant head coaching job with the New York Knicks. According to The Athletic’s Sam Amick, New York’s search is now focused on Jenkins and former Sacramento Kings coach Mike Brown.

The Knicks are in need of a new head coach after firing Tom Thibodeau and then being rebuffed by five different NBA teams to talk to their head coaches including the Rockets Ime Udoka and the Mavericks Jason Kidd.

Jenkins in the Grizzlies’ all-time winningest coach but was fired with just nine games to go in the regular season and replaced by his top assistant Tuomas Iisalo.
