MEMPHIS — Just 80 days from Memphis’ season opener against Chattanooga and seven Tigers earning preseason All-AAC honors from Phil Steele Wednesday.
Three named first team All-AAC, highlighted by defensive lineman William Whitlow Junior. Whitlow was named first team All-AAC last year when he had four sacks, seven tackles for loss and a forced fumble.
Also named preseason first team, offensive lineman Chris Adams and newcomer and Florida State transfer Omarion Cooper.
