BARTLETT, Tenn. — Several Bartlett police officers went above and beyond the call of duty Thursday morning.
According to a post on their Facebook page, the officers were flagged down when nine ducklings fell down a storm drain.
The officers removed the grate near Kirby Whitten and Yale around 6:45 a.m.
Lt. Todd Halford got down into the drain and was able to rescue the ducklings which, along with their mamma, are said to be fine.
