MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The driver that tragically lost his life in a two-car crash in South Memphis has been identified.

Police said the driver of the second vehicle was Derrick Young.

Authorities didn’t say what caused the crash at Third and Mallory, but said Young, two adult females and four juveniles were all involved.

The juveniles and one female adult were transported in non-critical condition.

The second adult female was transported in critical condition.
